Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center announces auditions for The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe to be held December 16 and 17, 2024 for students grades 7-12.
The Audition
Please arrive a minimum of 10 minutes before your scheduled audition time to check in and fill out any necessary paperwork including all known conflicts.
Auditions will take place on Monday, December 16, 2024, from 4:00pm to 9:00pm in Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center’s Rehearsal Studio
Please follow signs to enter through the 10th Street (Main Office) Entrance
Please prepare a one-minute dramatic or comedic monologue
Please bring a current picture and resume

Callbacks are by invitation only on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, from 4:00pm to 9:00pm in Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center’s Rehearsal Studio

Synopsis
This dramatization of C.S. Lewis' classic work faithfully recreates the magic and mystery of Aslan, the great lion, his struggle with the White Witch, and the adventures of four children who inadvertently wander from an old wardrobe into the exciting, never-to-be-forgotten Narnia. The intense action features chases, duels and escapes as the Witch is determined to keep Narnia in her possession and to end the reign of Aslan.
Character Breakdown
Peter: Oldest Pevensie child, brother to Susan, Edmund and Lucy.
Susan: Middle Pevensie child, sister to Peter, Edmund and Lucy.
Edmund: Middle Pevensie child, brother to Peter, Susan and Lucy.
Lucy: Youngest Pevensie child, sister to Peter, Susan and Edmund.
Macready: Housekeeper to the Professor.
Professor: Shares his mansion with the Pevensie children during the War. His mansion hold the magical wardrobe.
Tumnus: A faun in Narnia.
Dwarf: A servant to the White Witch in Narnia.
White Witch: An evil queen who tries to rule all of Narnia.
Mr. Beaver: Forest animal of Narnia who helps guide the Pevensie children.
Mrs. Beaver: Forest animal of Narnia who helps guide the Pevensie children.
Fenris Ulf: A wolf, head of the Witch’s secret police.
Father Christmas: A bringer of gifts.
Aslan: A great lion and true King of Narnia.
